Western New York Pediatrics is encouraging social distancing. We have been working to move patients into rooms quickly. We have been washing down all surfaces in the office. In order to further limit public exposure we will be reducing patient hours at the office. We are doing this on a week by week basis. For next week (3/30-4/3) the office will be open 7 am - 5 pm. We will have reduced staff working and are limiting physicals to ages 18 months and younger. Sick visits will continue to be triaged by phone. Telephone visits will continue as well We appreciate your patience during this time.
Continue to protect your family with hand washing and social distancing.

Due to COVID-19 the office will be temporarily changing its office hours:

Monday - Thursday -  7 am - 6 pm

Friday -  7 am - 5 pm

Saturday - 8 am - 3 pm

Continue to watch for updates. We do apologize for any inconvenience.

Stay healthy and safe.

COVID-19 is changing the way we practice medicine. We are providing more homecare. We are adapting to what people want. In efforts to continue to serve the needs of our patients we are happy to begin to offer telephone virtual visits.

Introducing Telephone Virtual Visits

What is a tVisit?

A telephone visit (tVisit) is a consultation with your primary care provider done by phone. It is meant to address common health issues. The member practices of Medical Health Associates are offering tVisit as an alternative to a traditional office visit for select, non-urgent medical issues.

Your time is important. If you can't get to the doctor's office for any number of reasons, a tVisit may make sense. It offers convenience, and it could expedite receiving treatment for certain illnesses, including but not limited to;

  • Back Pain
  • Ear Pain
  • Headache
  • Mental health
  • Pink Eye (Conjunctivitis)
  • Rash
  • Respiratory Distress
  • Sore Throat
  • URI (Upper Respiratory Infections)

The cost for an tVisit is from $25 to $45 depending on the length of the phone connection.

It may or may not be reimbursable through your insurance.

To take advantage of a tVisit you must:

- Be a current patient of the member practices of Medical Health Associates

- Have been seen in our office in the past 12 months

- Have non-urgent symptoms
